Job Summary
Chief Building Engineer at Stream Realty Partners responsible for leading engineering teams, setting short- and long-term project goals, budgeting and contract administration, complying with codes and OSHA safety requirements, overseeing maintenance/repair across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and driving energy-saving initiatives. The role includes developing strategic plans, supervising staff, coordinating with vendors/clients, evaluating and improving preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring timely delivery of projects and reports. Requires 7 years of experience in Commercial Building Operations or a related field, strong knowledge of base building systems, ability to read construction drawings, and EPA Universal Certification within 90 days. Occasional after-hours and weekend work is expected; office is on-site in Nashville, TN with standard on-site requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required
- EPA Universal Certification required within 90 days of employment
- BOMI SMT/SMT designation preferred
