Job Summary
Chief Banking Officer leading executive leadership across retail, commercial banking, wealth management, and insurance; responsible for growth, profitability, and customer engagement with oversight of governance and regulatory compliance. Remote-based leadership with periodic on-site requirements supporting a banking organization located in the Upper Midwest; collaborates with risk, finance, and operations leaders and partners with the Board of Directors to drive enterprise-wide strategy and talent development.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive banking leadership experience
- Strong background in both Commercial Banking and Retail Banking
- Experience leading multiple business lines within a financial institution
- Proven track record of driving growth, profitability, and organizational performance
- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities
- Excellent executive leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively with executive teams and Boards of Directors
- Must be located in or willing to reside in the Upper Midwest / Central Plains region
- Ability to travel and attend periodic on-site meetings throughout the year
