Job Summary
Oversee statutory and corporate accounting requirements, lead audit and compliance activities, and prepare commentary for quarterly certification processes. Ensure accurate accounting records, review monthly financial closing reports, and manage US GAAP to statutory adjustments. Lead annual statutory audits, act as the primary contact for external auditors, and manage financial inspections and regulatory reviews. Provide accounting and tax guidance for business initiatives, prepare statutory forecasts, and monitor local regulatory changes to implement necessary process updates. Collaborate with global finance teams, shared service partners, and external advisors to drive operational excellence and strengthen financial controls.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Professional accounting qualification or certification
- At least 4 years of experience within accounting or finance functions, ideally in a multinational organisation
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards
- Solid understanding of statutory accounting, financial reporting, and audit processes
- Experience working with accounting and financial reporting systems
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Experience working effectively in a multicultural and international environment
