Job Summary
Chief Accountant for Intercompany Team at Circle K Business Centre in Riga, responsible for accurate and timely complex accounting and reporting for Circle K European operations. Drive intercompany transactions reconciliation, ensure internal controls compliance, coordinate with internal/external audits and provide Transfer Pricing data for documentation. Lead and supervise Accountants, collaborate with business units in Europe and North America, and support process improvements and standardization of accounting and financial reporting processes. Requires a university degree in economics/finance/accounting/mathematics or similar, 5+ years in accounting or audit in international settings, ACCA is an asset, strong analytical skills, proficiency with Oracle JDE and Excel, and fluent English.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics or similar
- Solid experience (5+ years) in accounting or audit field within an international work environment
- Accounting specialization preferred
- Fluent English (oral and written)
- Strong analytical and accounting skills
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes is an advantage
- Oracle JDE and Excel skills at Advanced user level is an advantage
- People management experience
