Job Summary
Oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and the month-end and year-end closing processes for a leading Libyan conglomerate spanning fashion, healthcare, and energy sectors. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts while ensuring compliance with tax regulations and financial policies. Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies to maintain accuracy, and lead the accounting team to implement improved internal controls. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA/CMA certification, and five years of senior experience, with native Arabic and advanced English proficiency. Full-time role from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sat–Thu, offering yearly contract, paid leaves, and transportation allowance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience of 5 years minimum in a senior accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Arabic: Native level
- English: Advanced level
- Working hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Working days: Sat – Thu
