Job Summary
Lead recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation for new Team Members while maintaining accurate employee documentation and ensuring compliance with employment policies. Oversee employee relations processes, including coaching, accountability, and disciplinary documentation, and develop training plans for Front of House and Back of House staff. Build relationships across a diverse team, coordinate recognition events, and partner with leadership to identify future leaders. Support operations during peak periods, including 11:00 AM–2:00 PM, and work a minimum of 40 hours per week with at least one night off. Make independent decisions within the People function and model servant leadership by stepping into the operation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Human Resources, People Operations, Employee Relations, Talent, or comparable people-focused experience
- Experience interviewing, onboarding, coaching, or developing employees
- Working knowledge of employment practices, documentation, and HR compliance
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently
- Self-starter who can confidently make decisions and execute without requiring significant oversight
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across a diverse, multigenerational team
- High sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, approachable, and confident communication style
- Willingness to actively participate in restaurant operations
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and close at least one night each week
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish/English bilingual ability strongly preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Previous Chick-fil-A experience preferred
- HR-related degree, certification, or SHRM credential preferred
