Job Summary
Ocean Import Supervisor responsible for leading a team of 7+ import agents in import freight forwarding. Oversees account startup, SOP implementation, and guidance for customs classifications, ensuring compliance with CBP regulations. Must have strong knowledge of ocean freight (LCL-FCL) and experience in supervising a team; Cargowise experience is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in import freight forwarding, to include customs brokerage and previous supervisory experience
- Oversee a team of 7+ import agents with partial working manager responsibilities
- Assist with account start up, SOP implementation, and guidance for customs classifications
- Knowledge of all compliance related processes, CBP regulations, etc.
- Strong knowledge Ocean (LCL-FCL)
- Cargowise experience is preferred but not required.
