Job Summary
Manage Family Supportive Housing waitlists and coordinate outreach events, housing fairs, and community presentations to support program eligibility and placement efforts. Receive and respond to housing inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins while tracking all applicant interactions and maintaining accurate documentation of referrals and placement outcomes. Provide bilingual resource navigation and housing information to households seeking services, including those ineligible for Foundation Communities programs, and assess barriers to connect eligible families to financial assistance resources. Collaborate with Property Management, Case Managers, and community partners to facilitate successful housing placements and coordinate intern and volunteer assistance for intake activities. Maintain knowledge of qualifying criteria, tenant selection standards, and homeless preference documentation to ensure accurate information is provided to applicants and partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of non-profit housing and social service organizations
- Experience working with homeless and/or economically disadvantaged families and adults
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including some evenings
