Job Summary
Conduct direct personal care at client homes, including bathing, grooming, ambulation, and medication assistance. Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands as part of the written plan of care. Accurately document all activities and observe client conditions to report changes to the RN-Field Nurse. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to agency policies, and complete required annual training. Commit to mandatory weekend availability and drive throughout the service area.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid New Jersey Board of Nursing
- Home Health Aide certification
- Ability to read and write in the English Language
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to maintain required records
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the jobs, with or without reasonable accommodation
- WEEKEND AVAILABILITY
- Commitment to working either every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) or one weekend day each weekend (Saturday or Sunday), per scheduling needs
- Ability to move intermittently through the day
- Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Sight/hearing senses or use of prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately
