Job Summary
Conduct home health visits for hospice clients in Camden and Burlington counties, managing Activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, oral feeding, and light housekeeping. Perform vital sign checks, assist with ambulation, and facilitate range of motion exercises while providing medication assistance and transfers using mechanical lifting devices. Handle home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making. Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio with reliable transportation. Requires NJ Aide Registry listing, one year of experience, and competency evaluation completion. Base pay ranges from $21 to $22 per hour with weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Have at least one year of work experience
- Must be listed on the NJ Aide Registry, active and in good standing
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
- Have a criminal background check completed
- Meet all state requirements
