Job Summary
Receive and provide shift reports to management on resident status, notifying them of any changes in physical or mental condition. Deliver personal care per individualized plans, including ADLs such as bathing, grooming, turning, positioning, and ambulation. Prepare residents for meals, assist with dining, and manage toilet and incontinence care. Perform vital signs, weights, and clinical procedures while maintaining infection control and facility safety standards. Document all care provided and actively participate in interdisciplinary team processes, care plan meetings, and quality assurance programs. Maintain resident confidentiality, adhere to HIPAA policies, and follow emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- six months of experience in a caregiving role or similar function
- CNA or HHA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to communicate verbally in person and over the phone
- Must be available for Part-Time/Per Diem
- Location in East Brunswick, NJ
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
