Job Summary
Receives and gives reports to management on resident status, notifying them of any changes in physical or mental condition. Provides personal care per individualized plans, including ADLs like bathing, grooming, and turning residents. Prepares residents for meals, assists with toilet and incontinence care, and performs vital signs and other clinical procedures. Maintains clean environments, completes prevention and restorative care, and participates in interdisciplinary team processes and care plan meetings. Adheres to facility policies, infection control procedures, and HIPAA regulations while communicating effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in a caregiving role or similar function
- CNA or HHA certification
- Ability to communicate verbally in person and over the phone
- Working knowledge of facility emergency procedures including fire and disaster drills
- Maintains resident confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA policies
- F/T, P/T & Per Diem availability
- 7am - 3pm shift availability
- 3pm - 11pm shift availability
