Job Summary
CHHA Caregiver needed in North Hudson area to provide companionship and in-home care to seniors in Union City, NJ. Responsibilities include offering companionship, assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility and transfers, medication reminders (no administration), light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and accompanying clients to appointments or errands (public transportation is fine). You will communicate client updates with the care team. Requires active NJ CHHA license and a High school diploma or GED; CPR certification preferred; background check clearance; reliable transportation not required to have a car. Compensation ranges from $17–$23 per hour, with flexible part-time schedules and a path to career growth. Paid orientation and ongoing training are provided; 401K eligibility after meeting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active NJ CHHA license (required)
- Current TB test
- CPR certification (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- Cleared background check
- Reliable transportation (a car is not required!)
