Job Summary
Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides (CHHAs) provide companionship and assistance with daily living activities for seniors at home across the North Hudson area. Duties include companionship, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility support and transfers, medication reminders (no administration), light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, and accompanying clients to appointments or errands. You’ll communicate updates with the care team and may benefit from paid orientation and ongoing training, with opportunities for career growth. A genuine love for seniors and reliable transportation are important, with an active NJ CHHA license and HS diploma/GED required.
Required Qualifications
- Active NJ CHHA license (required)
- Current TB test
- CPR certification (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- Cleared background check
- Reliable transportation (a car is not required!)
