Job Summary
Greet customers, conduct vehicle walk-arounds, and identify repair needs using the multi-point inspection process. Communicate findings, explain costs, and obtain signed condition reports and repair orders via the CDK system. Provide accurate estimates, secure approval for additional services, and coordinate directly with technicians to ensure timely completion. Process payments, deliver vehicles, and explain completed services and future recommendations. Maintain high customer satisfaction, achieve 35% additional service request penetration, and sustain an effective labor rate of 85%. Requires strong communication, time management, typing, and math skills.
Required Qualifications
- Communication skills – communicates effectively with others.
- Time management – managing one's own time and the time of others.
- Typing – the ability to type efficiently to enter repair orders.
- Mathematics – calculating service costs and counting change.
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license
