Job Summary
Plan fun community outings and meaningful daily activities for a client in Chestnut Hill. Prepare simple, healthy meals together and encourage exercise, healthy routines, and wellness. Assist with choosing weather-appropriate clothing and provide respectful reminders for personal care when needed. Support volunteer opportunities and community participation to help her enjoy an active, independent, and fulfilling life. Available shifts include Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Saturday and Sunday evenings, and Monday through Friday overnight. Starting pay is $21–$25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Kind, patient, and encouraging
- Experienced (at least two years of caregiving or direct support experience)
- Familiar with supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
- Creative, flexible, and positive
- Able to pass state and federal background checks
- A non-smoker
- Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Monday–Friday Overnight: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
