Job Summary
Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students in Fremont, CA using our curriculum to teach chess fundamentals, problem-solving, and good sportsmanship. Manage a lively classroom, engage students, and connect chess concepts to real-life thinking. Travel to multiple local school sites for sessions, arrive prepared, and teach 1–5 classes per week in a Monday–Friday 12pm–6pm window. Role emphasizes reliability, classroom management, and a positive, kid-friendly demeanor. Travel mileage is reimbursed for trips over 15 miles one-way; relocation assistance is not provided.
