Job Summary
Operate power equipment, specifically the Order Picker, at significant heights during the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Perform daily diagnostic imaging coverage including ordering replenishment with basic product scanner proficiency. Complete forklift training and pass a drug test before authorization. Maintain safety compliance and demonstrate basic math skills to read safety rules and operating instructions. Work as a team player with strong communication abilities in a full-time seasonal role supporting Scholastic's book fairs across the country.
Required Qualifications
- Must be trained and licensed to operate power equipment
- Must have a minimum 1 year power equipment operation experience
- Requires satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
- Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency (i.e., ordering replenishment) effectively with minimal errors
- Good verbal/written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals
- Must be at least 18 years of age
