Job Summary
Operate battery-powered lift equipment to receive, put away, replenish, load inventory, and pick orders within a distribution warehouse. Assist with physical inventory to maintain product accuracy and provide routine general maintenance on lift equipment, including nightly charging, watering, and checking for wear. Scan inventory using handheld devices and perform basic data entry via Microsoft Outlook, Word, RF Smart, and NetSuite. Occasional weekend work is required to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift License
- Occasional weekend work as required to meet business needs
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret paperwork
- Maintain consistent, dependable attendance
- Basic personal computer skills that include the ability to send/receive email messages, post information to a database or spreadsheet, and perform basic word processing, bookkeeping, and/or data entry
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists
- Close mental and visual attention to prepare and analyze data and figures, work on a computer, read, or control machines or processes at a rapid pace that requires close coordination and fine adjustment
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years Reach truck experience preferred
- 1-3 years Counterbalance fork truck operator experience preferred
- 3-5 years Warehouse Operations experience preferred
