Job Summary
Process parts utilizing chemical and manual cleaning methods, including masking, coating, etching, blasting, and drying. Operate equipment to meet production standards while maintaining a clean, safe work area and adhering to SOPs. Complete training on assigned processes and handle hazardous chemicals correctly with proper disposal protocols. Perform daily organization and upkeep of the assigned process area, take SPC measurements, and log data. Attend monthly safety meetings and training programs while managing tasks efficiently to achieve production goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or related field
- 1-year experience in manufacturing processes or materials
- Ability to handle repetitive work and provide fast turn-around on production related to masking, wiping, processing parts
- Good verbal and written communications
- Computer literate, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule including some weekend and evening work
- Must be able to wear work area gowning: hairnet and frock
- Ability to take SPC measurements and log data
- Ability to kneel, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp
- Stand for LONG PERIODS of time
- Lift up to 40 lbs. on a consistent basis
- Work with hazardous chemicals daily
- Work in a cleanroom environment
- Must be able to read and comprehend directions
- Must be able to hear and speak to communicate with co-workers
- Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- AA degree in a technical field or some college
- 3+ years of hands-on experience
- Experience in parts cleaning and coating technologies
- Kaizen or Lean training
- Media blast experience
- Quality Assurance experience
- Previous experience in the parts cleaning industry
- High-Tech or Semiconductor experience
