Job Summary
6th Grade Chemistry Teacher responsible for preparing and facilitating subject-specific lesson plans and delivering instruction aligned with BASIS Curriculum. Roles include designing interactive lessons, collaborating with BASIS teachers to enhance curriculum, tutoring students, managing behavior, supporting non-instructional duties (Early Bird, Late Bird, lunch), maintaining regular attendance, and supervising students to foster academic achievement and personal responsibility. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor's degree in the subject area (or equivalent), IVP clearance, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and 2+ years of teaching experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor�s degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree)
- Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
