Teach Chemistry and Physics to high school students (9-12), develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and TEA guidelines, accommodate diverse learning styles, assess student achievement, collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed, manage student behavior, communicate with parents and administrators, and participate in staff development and committees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- At least one-year student teaching or approved internship
