Job Summary
High School Chemistry/Life Science Teacher at Arlington High School. Deliver standards-aligned physics instruction using inquiry-based and phenomenon-driven approaches; design and facilitate laboratory investigations and hands-on learning experiences; use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction; differentiate instruction to support diverse learners; collaborate with colleagues for curriculum alignment and student success; maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Eligible candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Science Education, or related field and appropriate state licensure for Chemistry, Biology or General Science 9–12; preference for NGSS experience and AP Chemistry; willingness to differentiate instruction and collaborate with general and special educators; salary consistent with district collective bargaining agreement.
