Job Summary
Monitor daily production operations and process control to ensure units adhere to design limits while investigating issues causing operational instability. Review design conditions of process units and gather interdisciplinary inputs to develop final proposals that enable the unit to achieve its designed capabilities. Submit technical reports and presentations on operating principles of the gas processing plant and relevant legislations. This internship provides hands-on experience with industry experts on Shell's upstream technology team, focusing on optimized operations and the energy transition.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant Degree program (Chemistry or relevant program) as a penultimate/final year students
- Minimum CGPA 3.0 and above
- Minimum 6 months of internship commitment
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent proficiency in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Desired Qualifications
- knowledge in chemical engineering tools will be an added advantage
