Job Summary
Lead operational management of shared chemistry laboratories, coordinating infrastructure, equipment installation/maintenance, and user training to support researchers. Ensure compliance with WHS, OGTR, and Biosecurity; provide expert guidance on hazardous chemical management; oversee procurement and management of laboratory space and resources; deliver project and process improvements across laboratory operations. Requires a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline with laboratory experience; hands-on experience with chemistry equipment (e.g., HPLC, NMR, CD spectrometry) and strong stakeholder engagement, organizational, and training skills.
