Job Summary
Chemist I role involves performing pharmaceutical testing including HPLC, GC, TLC, UV, dissolution and IR spectroscopy, writing technical analytical reports and procedures, auditing data, and working with a senior mentor analyst. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 0-2 years of experience, knowledge of analytical chemistry, regulatory guidelines, strong analytical lab skills, and ability to communicate effectively. Will operate in a regular laboratory setting with exposure to chemicals and solvents; includes routine testing, data analysis, and cross-department collaboration. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
- 0-2 years of experience
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry and pharmaceutical industry practices
- Ability to perform pharmaceutical testing (HPLC, GC, TLC, UV, dissolution, IR)
- Ability to read/write English and communicate with teams
- Strong analytical lab skills and ability to follow SOPs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data acquisition systems for chromatography
- Ability to multi-task and interpret complex documents
- Ability to write comprehensive reports and affidavits
