Job Summary
Perform routine analytical testing of pharmaceutical raw materials, in-process samples, blends, finished products, and stability samples using instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, FTIR, and dissolution apparatus. Document all raw data, observations, and test results contemporaneously in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems while maintaining complete, audit-ready records. Compile analytical findings for supervisors and ensure all testing is completed accurately within established timelines. Maintain laboratory equipment, uphold a clean and safe environment, and adhere to departmental SOPs, DEA requirements, and cGMP compliance standards. Work Monday through Friday in a day shift onsite at the pharmaceutical analytical laboratory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in analytical chemistry laboratory
- Familiarity with analytical instrumentation theory and practice
- Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Understanding of laboratory documentation and data recording practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced laboratory environment
- Self-motivated with a hands-on, can-do attitude
- English proficiency at CEFR Intermediate B1+ level
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive laboratory tasks
- Strong visual acuity, including close vision and depth perception
- Ability to operate laboratory and office equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Travel: Up to 10%
