Job Summary
Chemist at HP focused on analytical chemistry and materials characterization to support digital ink applications. Own and drive analytical investigations to understand ink and raw material behavior, contribute to formulation development and sustainment, lead investigations to identify root causes of manufacturing issues, and collaborate with ink manufacturing, R&D, and lab teams to enable process development, scale-up readiness, and technology introduction. Emphasis on applying analytical techniques to meet performance, quality, and regulatory requirements, taking on technical leadership or project ownership for complex challenges, and communicating findings clearly to enable data-driven decisions.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or a related field
- Typically, 5+ years of experience in analytical chemistry or material characterization
- Strong foundation in chemical formulation principles or analytical insight to formulation-driven systems
- Experience with Chromatography, Spectroscopy, Elemental Analysis, Thermal measurement, or Particle Size & Physical measurement tools
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Proven records in leading formulation studies or technical investigations (preferred)
