Job Summary
Research-focused Chemist/Engineer to support the Kynar Liquid Applications R&D team by conducting and coordinating laboratory experiments related to waterborne fluoropolymer-based coatings and related chemistries. Responsibilities include setting up experiments, formulating and testing properties, performing polymer synthesis within lab support, documenting observations and results, communicating findings to project teams and management, developing and maintaining safe operating procedures for lab equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, ordering supplies, and overseeing material handling/waste disposal. Requires strong hands-on lab skills, proficiency with MS Office, ability to follow procedures, and excellent written/verbal communication with internal and external teams. Collaboration with R&D management and international colleagues; minimal travel (<5%).
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in liquid formulation, application development, and/or synthesis
