Job Summary
Chemist in ESAB's Global R&D Filler Metals in Gothenburg responsible for performing chemical analyses, developing analytical methods, maintaining documentation, leading laboratory-related projects, and ensuring ISO 9001/ISO 17025-compliant quality systems. You will perform chemical analyses on mineral powder, metallic materials and finished products, develop and validate analytical methods, select and optimize methods for accurate results, maintain laboratory instructions and equipment, collaborate with internal stakeholders across ESAB's global network, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a collaborative, ISO-regulated laboratory environment. Proficiency in English and Swedish is expected, with hands-on experience in analytical/inorganic chemistry and techniques such as XRF, XRD, OES, and/or ICP considered a plus.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
