Job Summary
Produce accurate regional price assessments, market commentary, and forecasts for petrochemical, aromatic, and oleochemical markets within the Americas. Build and maintain industry networks to gather pricing intelligence, conduct discussions with market participants, and update analytical models. Develop supply and demand balances and long-term forecasts while delivering data-driven insights for client procurement and strategic planning. Represent the organization at conferences and client meetings, presenting findings to stakeholders. Requires 3+ years of petrochemical experience, proficiency in Excel, and up to 25% travel for industry events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, commodity markets, market intelligence, pricing analysis, or a related field
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and engage effectively with industry participants and clients
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce concise, insightful, and analytical market commentary
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with experience interpreting complex datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% for conferences, client visits, and market discussions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience analyzing or reporting on commodity and petrochemical markets
