Chemical Treatment Coordinator

Job Summary
Oversee daily operations and planning of chemical stabilization, neutralization, and evaporation processes at the Casa Grande facility. Review incoming waste streams for treatability and profitability while ensuring all activities comply with established regulations and site procedures. Collaborate with Environmental, Health and Safety personnel to enforce safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and evaluate processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Recommend hires and retain staff while analyzing industry trends to enhance operational performance. Manage rotating on-call responsibilities as part of the Emergency Response team, reporting to designated office within one hour during shifts. Requires 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper certification, bilingual English and Spanish skills, and ability to function in all levels of PPE.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10+ years' experience within the hazardous and non-hazardous waste business
- Proven experience with chemical stabilization, neutralization and evaporation processes
- Strong technical knowledge
- Possess strategic, problem analysis, and creativity skills
- Ability to function in all levels of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper Certification w/ current 8-hr refresher
- D.O.T. Hazardous Materials Training
- Able to obtain and maintain a fork truck license
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
- Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
- Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts
- Must be able to function in all levels of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to put on and take off personal protective equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build, lead teams, provide direction to staff with regulatory reporting to senior management
- Bilingual English & Spanish preferred
- Expertise in all MS suite applications with strong Excel skills
- Education: Bachelors and/or Master's degree preferred
- Personality conducive to teamwork
