Job Summary
Chemical Service Technician responsible for solving water problems at customer data centers, performing extensive water testing & analyses, and troubleshooting water treatment and control equipment. Role includes treating industrial cooling towers to improve energy efficiency and environmental performance, delivering on customer KPIs, promoting Garratt-Callahan solutions and monitoring technology, and ensuring customer satisfaction with a focus on safety and technical training. Requires a 4-year technical degree in the sciences, ability to lift 50 pounds in PPE, and live near Milwaukee, Sheboygan, or Port Washington; prior technical sales experience or related internship is preferred. Location-focused work in Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Beaver Dam, and Port Washington with in-person engagement at customer sites; competitive compensation ($70k-$90k first year), benefits, and ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year technical degree in the sciences (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Paper Science, or Water Resources)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds wearing PPE in all weather conditions
- Experience or interest in learning advanced water treatment technologies
- Detail-oriented with adherence to safety protocols
- Live in or near Milwaukee, Sheboygan, or Port Washington; familiarity with the industrial marketplace of the area
