Job Summary
Receive and document incoming chemicals and materials, inspect deliveries for accuracy and compliance, enter receipt information into inventory systems, and generate pallet ID labels. Maintain organized records, resolve shipment discrepancies, and check in small packages. Facilitate movement and staging of received materials; operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and stretch wrappers as needed. Maintain clean, safe work areas per GMP and safety protocols; train others in receiving processes. Ensure proper labeling and segregation of hazardous chemicals; coordinate with EHS for storage. Assist with sourcing materials from purchasing and production, notify teams of delays, and participate in audits, spill response, and emergency drills. Seek process improvements to increase efficiency and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Preferred)
- 1-3 years forklift operation (Preferred)
- 1-3 years proficient in basic computer functions and inventory management systems (Preferred)
- 1-3 years good mathematical skills for inventory reconciliation and documentation (Preferred)
- 1-3 years knowledge of hazardous material handling and chemical safety protocols (Preferred)
- Forklift Certification (Preferred)
