Chemical Production Operator Manufacturing

Job Summary
Operate production equipment and monitor process conditions to maintain safe and efficient chemical production. Perform batch manufacturing including weighing and charging raw materials to vessels, transferring products to storage and other containers, and loading/unloading systems and auxiliary equipment. Read, record, and interpret data from instruments, reactors, pumps, and other controls to adjust operations; understand key process variables affecting product quality and troubleshoot as needed. Maintain housekeeping and support EHS programs; mentor and train new and existing personnel on process operations; safely operate forklifts and lifting equipment. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and production efficiency in a 12-hour rotating shift environment, with potential for career growth.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Forklift preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Detail oriented
- Ability to read, record and interpret data from instruments and equipment
- Ability to mentor and train personnel
- Safety conscious with focus on process safety and EHS programs
