Chemical Production Operator Manufacturing

Job Summary
Operate production equipment and reactors to manufacture finish goods, including batch manufacturing with weighing and charging of raw materials and transferring products to storage. Read, record, and interpret data from instruments to maintain safe, efficient operations; understand and control key process variables affecting quality. Maintain housekeeping, support EHS programs, and mentor/train new personnel. Safely operate forklifts, lifts, and hand trucks. Work on a 12-hour rotating shift in an open-air environment; follow policies and procedures to ensure safety and reliability. High school diploma or GED required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Forklift preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to operate production equipment and monitor process conditions
- Read, record and interpret data from instruments and equipment
- Must be able to work the 12 hour rotating shift
- Safety and EHS awareness
