Job Summary
Plate, clean, and treat components while teaching plating processes to other employees. Mix chemicals, operate analyzing equipment, and maintain plating department baths and waste processing tanks. Keep written documentation, write work orders for repairs, and assist with wastewater treatment monitoring. Make necessary adjustments to ensure quality products and maintain compliance with safety standards and ISO-9001 guidelines. Move hazardous waste in containers up to 55 gallons and perform aqueous degreasing operations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Good math skills
- Ability to understand and implement safe chemical handling
- 3-5 years' experience in plating and cleaning operation
- Must have copper, nickel, and silver plating experience
- Must be safety oriented in this position with previous hazardous waste and chemical training
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
- Must be authorized to work in the US
