Job Summary
Operate automatic and manual equipment to process manufacturing batches of bulk materials and ingredients, including mechanical and chemical processing steps. Bond dissimilar materials assemblies into semi-finished or finished products while performing surface finishing tasks like washing, painting, and plating. Monitor and verify product quality using statistical processes, inspect parts for defects, and ensure all operations adhere to established safety protocols and PPE requirements. Manage production inventory, order new supplies, and distribute work assignments to operators based on daily plans. Escalate nonconformances, hazards, or equipment issues to supervisors and provide feedback on team performance and training needs. Works under direct supervision with limited discretion, applying technical principles to execute existing procedures and solve basic technical problems.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Person status (lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, U.S. national, refugee, or asylee)
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Ability to meet the requirements of the respiratory protection program including medical evaluation
- Must be able to meet the requirements of the respiratory protection program including medical evaluation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience inspecting parts
- Previous experience managing inventory
- Demonstrated proficiency in effective leadership
