Job Summary
Monitor galvanized equipment and fluids to adjust flow rates for maximum iron and zinc sulfate crystal output. Add acid, nickel, and albumin to process tanks while maintaining fluid levels, temperatures, and RO system integrity. Operate the molten zinc recovery machine, perform minor maintenance on tanks using hand and power tools, and manage crystal bag and filter changes. Assist with loading trailers, washing down tanks, maintaining the dryer area, and completing accurate logs. Work one to two shifts of overtime per week, wearing required PPE including respirators for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- No Degree
- No (0) to one (1) year of relevant experience
- Work with exposure to sulfuric acid
- Able to operate a forklift
- use hand tools

- Work one (1) to two (2) shifts of overtime per week
- Wear a respirator for extended periods of time
- other required Personal Protective Equipment for the production facility
- Perform basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
- Read and interpret simple charts, tables, flow diagrams, and troubleshooting guides
- The ability to stand and / or walk for up to 95% of the shift
- Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- One (1) year of experience operating hand and / or power tools
- One (1) year of experience with overhead crane operations
- Prior experience with on the job troubleshooting
