Job Summary
Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and actively engage in safety management by addressing intermediate-level issues with shift supervisors. Independently use DAKOTA software for compliance, incident reporting, and safety management while developing standard work practices to apply LEAN principles. Lead projects focused on eliminating non-value-added activities and manage medium-scale process equipment projects with budget considerations. Participate in quality training programs and contribute as an active member of the facility's Quality Improvement Council. Mentor less experienced engineers and perform daily GEMBA Walks to oversee operations. This role supports Tremco CPG's 21 manufacturing facilities and 2,700 employees across North America.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in engineering
- 2+ years of experience
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, and lift up to 25 lbs
