Job Summary
Cleans and visually inspects railcars before transfer, connects or disconnects loading arm hoses, and inspects for leaks while weighing railcars and completing paperwork. Examines track lists to plan railcar movement, operates trackmobiles or locomotives to safely move railcars within the plant, and communicates with team members, leadership, and customer contacts. Completes assigned duties and maintains regular on-site attendance. Requires a valid driver's license or TWIC card, fluent English, and ability to wear all required PPE. Performs this work on a 12-hour rotating shift.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality
- valid Driver's License
- valid TWIC card
