Job Summary
Operate and monitor Rotex screeners, cyclers, and batch-making mixers for ion exchange resin production while setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machinery to ensure quality output. Conduct routine equipment inspections, prepare raw materials per batch formulas, and monitor process parameters like temperature and pressure. Collect product samples for quality checks, record production data in logs, and perform preventive maintenance and cleaning. Maintain a safe work area compliant with GMP and OSHA standards, reporting malfunctions promptly. Train on 1st shift before moving to a rotating 4-on/4-off schedule covering days, nights, weekends, and overtime. Requires 1-2 years of industrial equipment experience and physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating industrial production or processing equipment
- Ability to read and follow SOPs, batch records, and safety data sheets (SDS)
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and report equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality product
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for batch preparation and process adjustments
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a manufacturing environment
- Must be available for days, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Train on 1st shift, then move to a rotating 4-on / 4-off schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in chemical, polymer, or specialty materials manufacturing
- Familiarity with ion exchange resins, specialty chemicals, or batch chemical processing
- Experience operating screening or separation equipment (e.g., Rotex or similar vibratory screeners)
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and cGMP environments
