Job Summary
Control equipment systems that process chemical substances into specified products by operating reaction systems, filters, storage tanks, reactors, pumps, and process logic control systems in compliance with prescribed procedures. Monitor and record reactions, adjust control settings to affect reaction speeds, quality, or yields, and draw samples to conduct quality control tests ensuring standards are met. Load and unload raw materials and finished products, patrol work areas to prevent overflow, and shut down equipment during emergencies as directed. Work a 12-hour shift (6a-630p or 600p-630a) on site. Requires valid driver's license and forklift certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass pre-employment screen, including drug screen, and background check
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to drive forklift
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be willing to work 12 hour shift
- Shift times are either 6a-630p or 600p-630a
