Job Summary
Chemical Operator II at Entegris (Burnet, TX) responsible for starting, monitoring, and troubleshooting purification systems, working with glove boxes, performing sampling and packaging of finished goods, completing SAP paperwork, and participating in safety and process-improvement activities. Must possess troubleshooting skills; cross-training on all processes; shift is 3-2-2-3 on night shift after training and certification; involves decontamination of equipment and maintaining quality standards per ISO processes.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus
- Previous chemical handling experience
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
- Knowledge of inventory management
- SAP experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000
- Frequent lifting up to 50lbs and pushing up to 130lbs
- Flexibility to rapidly respond to new situations and perform multiple tasks
