Job Summary
Chemical Operator II at Entegris (Burnet, TX) responsible for starting, monitoring, and troubleshooting purification systems, working inside glove boxes with PPE, running stations that dry/morph/pressure reduction, performing SAP documentation, cycle counts, safety/toolbox/JSA participation, and cross-training on processes. Requires troubleshooting skills and collaboration with Engineers to run experiments and maintain PMs, with a 3-2-2-3 night shift schedule once trained. Experience in chemical handling/manufacturing and a high school diploma (associate degree a plus) is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive)
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus
- Previous chemical handling experience
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
- Knowledge of inventory management
- SAP experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000
- Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs
- Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks
