Job Summary
Chemical Operator II on the Days shift based in Burnet, TX. Responsible for initiating, monitoring, and troubleshooting batch-distillation processes involving hazardous chemicals; collecting and submitting chemical samples; performing preventative maintenance on distillation equipment; using SAP to manage production schedules, work orders, inventory, and labeling; ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards and participating in safety training. Requires 2+ years of manufacturing experience, high school diploma or GED, familiarity with distillation processes, PLCs, valves, pressure regulators, P&ID reading, and ISO 9001. Rotating 2-2-3 schedule (5:00am–5:00pm when fully trained) with every other weekend off. Emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement of processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or a related field is a plus
- Manufacturing experience 2+ years
- distillation experience is a plus
- PLC operation
- Piping and P&ID
- SAP experience is a plus
- ISO 9001 knowledge
