Job Summary
Operate equipment and semi-automatic systems to process chemicals in a cGMP area, build production batches, read and maintain batch documentation, load/offload chemicals, operate pumps and filters, monitor temperatures and run speeds, conduct in-process testing, collaborate with QC lab and R&D, train other employees, support production planning, and uphold quality, safety, and environmental objectives in a GMP-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a chemical operator or in a related field
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Familiarity with ERP solutions (SAP, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics ERP) is a plus
- Knowledge of OSHA’s PSM standards and handling hazardous materials
