Job Summary
Assemble raw materials and process products using automatic/manual machines and hand tools according to Synsus's high-quality standards. Create batches following recipe tickets on batch sheets, tracking raw material inventory while maintaining a safe work environment. Monitor temperature, pressure, visual appearance, and physical changes to control process variables and troubleshoot issues. Clean manufacturing tanks, lines, and equipment using steam and agents as required. Operate lift trucks to move or store raw materials and perform minor maintenance tasks. Communicate changes or discrepancies to the team effectively and follow OSHA, EPA, and ADEM regulations.
Required Qualifications
- GED or high school diploma equivalency
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Able to become respirator fit tested for safe operations
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
