Job Summary
Chemical Operator responsible for operating production machinery, mixing and processing chemicals, following blend sheets, packaging into containers, loading/unloading bulk trailers, and maintaining safety and quality documentation. Duties include handling chemicals, using forklifts, loading reactors and distillation systems, conducting routine equipment troubleshooting, performing janitorial/general labor tasks as needed, and contributing to process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of related experience in manufacturing (preferred)
- Forklift Certified (preferred)
- Understanding of chemical processes
- Basic computer skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more
