Job Summary
Operate and control chemical processing systems to produce high-quality products safely and efficiently; review daily mix schedules and confirm availability of required raw materials; accurately add raw materials using manual methods, pumps, or automated equipment; monitor product quality and identify out-of-spec materials; clean mix tanks and equipment; operate forklifts and material handling equipment; maintain production records and equipment logs; follow safety protocols and participate in safety initiatives; collaborate on process improvements; shift is 3rd shift (9:30 PM – 5:30 AM) with a $0.75 shift differential; Garland, TX site; starting pay $27.26/hr with differential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of industrial mixing or batching experience
- 1 year of stand-up reach truck experience
- 1 year of experience working with systems, pumps, read meters, basic Quality Control data and tracking mixing and quality information (mix logs, batch adjustments, etc.)
- Ability to simultaneously mix several tanks and accurately complete related documents
- Ability to read and match numbers on shipping records, labels, raw materials and finished goods

- Physical requirements: lifting up to 50 pounds, respirator fitness (if required)
